The Maggio Musicale relies on Young Aida’s TV shot for U.S. cinemas

Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Foundation chooses Young for a new, important production challenge: Aida by Verdi, conducted by Mehta and directed by Ferzan Ozpetek to the live broadcast in U.S. cinemas.
After the good result of the opening of Tosca, recorded in December by Young and sent to near live in Italian cinemas, the choice is Young again for a technical service for this production of larger size. A direction composed by ten HD cameras, two of them on remote head placed in the orchestra pit.
On April 28th, Aida inaugurated the Maggio Fiorentino Festival under the baton of Zubin Mehta. On May 3rd, the opera will be recorded and broadcasted live, via satellite, in the United States. Young also provided to the special edition DVD with a special rework content in various languages.
