The last weekend of events in the Bolgheri Melody RacConta was successfully completed. It has been the television talk show produced by Athena Communications broadcasted on Italian TV circuit, Rete 37, and live on Sky Channel 597. Young Unit 7 tri-camera will make shooting and sending of the program to the network.

A very rich and varied program to the last weekend, which many people have taken of national importance:

Wednesday 22^nd July: Laici e Cattolici (Lay and Catholics), that was the title of the first event of the last three meetings of Bolgheri Melody RacConta. Guests of the talk were Antonio Socci (Italian writer and journalist) and Massimiliano Panarari (University Professor and opinion leader of Italian newspaper ‘La Stampa’) for a meeting dedicated to discussing new and controversial Socci’s essay ‘La guerra contro Gesù’ (‘The war against Jesus’) published by Rizzoli in which Socci (columnist of ‘Il Giornale’, ‘Il Foglio’, ‘Libero’ and ‘Panorama’, as well as deputy director of Rai 2 in 2002) denounces the lies and conspiracies, exposing motives and interests from which came the anti-Christian ideology.

Saturday 23^rd July: it has been renamed the day of the Italian comedy. Guest in the afternoon was Italian comic and actor, Paolo Villaggio, interviewed by the director of Italian newspaper ‘Il Tirreno’, Roberto Bernabò. For the occasion, Villaggio presented his most recent book entitled “Giudizio Universale” (“Last Judgement”). In the evening, then, the Italian star performer Giorgio Panariello was on stage at Arena Mario Incisa della Rocchetta with the show “Panariello non esiste” (“Panariello does not exist”), performing all his historical and unpublished repertoire. There were to the scene also a band, some dancers, a singer and the illusionist Gaetano Triggiano.

Sunday 24^th July: Una storia italiana: di padre in figlio…l’Amore per la vita (An Italian Story: from father to son…the Love for life). A major title for the last appointment of the talk, with guests Umberto Veronesi (oncologist and political) and his son, the Maestro Alberto Veronesi (musician and Conductor). An Italian Story, in fact, that concerns the senator and his son, who have told and spoke of love for life and the special relationship between a father and a son. The meetings were broadcasted on a delayed basis in band evening (Monday 25^th at 9.30 p.m.) and afternoon (Tuesday 26^th at 3.30 p.m.) on Sky channel 517 (Italia 7 in Tuscany).

Hosted by Francesco Borgonovo, head of the cultural pages of Italian newspaper ‘Libero’, with Massimiliano Simoni as artistic director, the talk show brought important, national guests in Bolgheri’s most significant locations to talk, discuss and debate different, current issues.

From politics to entertainment, from medicine to sports, Bolgheri Melody RacConta hosted prominent representatives of national politics, world of television, science, medicine and sports.
